In the first three one-hour specials of "Ultimate Restorations", we follow the controversial and often daunting restoration of one of the world's rarest yachts, the last American steam yacht, "Cangarda". One man's vision inspires a "family" of fearless restorers as they carve, sand, weld and recreate 100 year-old tools. All of it builds to one historic moment when the re-born "grande dame" gets up steam once again, and heads for home. With a great "edge-of-your seat" story and magnificent production values, the "Cangarda" story has taken four years to shoot and completes post production in May. On the half-hour teen series Envirotrek, four intrepid real-life teens journey from the deserts of the American Southwest to troubled islands in the Pacific. Their goal is to discover the environmental problem and try to figure out a solution. They plant kelp, learn about alternative fuels and help wildlife survive the new problems facing Earth's future.
